Voice quoting" sounds like one of those things that works great in a demo and falls apart in real life. We get it. So instead of telling you how good it is, here's exactly what happens when you open TRAiDMIN and quote a single split install from your ute.
The whole thing takes under two minutes.
You open the app and start talking
You tap the mic and Mina, your quoting expert, kicks off the conversation. She asks what you need. You tell her.
"Hey, can we do a single split quote?"
That's it. No menus. No dropdowns. Just say what you need.
Mina asks for the job details
She'll ask for the basics: customer name, system series and capacity, run length, and labour hours. You don't need to remember a form or fill things in order. Just talk through the job the way you'd explain it to your offsider.
"Installing a single split. The customer is David Jacob. I'm going to need a Cora 5kW system for a living room, the run is 10 metres, and it'll be half a day's work."
Mina picks it all up and reads it back to you.
She asks smart follow-up questions
Mina doesn't just take what you say and run with it. She checks the gaps. Is David an existing client or a new one? Do you need a sparky for the job?
You answer, she confirms the full scope back to you: Cora 5kW, ground mount, 10 metres run, half a day's work for one person, $400 for a sparky.
Before she builds the quote, she asks if there's anything else to add. If not, she gets to work.
The quote lands in seconds
Mina generates the quote with a full breakdown right there on screen. You can see the client name, job description, external costs, internal and external labour, gross profit and total charge. No surprises.
From here you tap "Review and finalise quote" and you're into the detail.
You can dig into every line item
The quote summary shows your materials, labour and net profit at a glance, with your margin percentage right there. If you want to go deeper, you can.
Tap into materials and you'll see every item priced out individually: the Cora unit, refrigerant piping, mounting bracket, electrical allowance, supply cable, circuit breaker, isolation switch, trunking. Each one shows quantity and cost, and you can swap items or adjust quantities on the spot.
Same goes for labour. You can toggle between employee and subcontractor, adjust hours, and add or remove resources. If you've got a sparky coming as a subcontractor, that's in there too.
Set your margin with the Profit Builder
This is where you make sure you're actually making money. The Net Profit screen shows your external costs, internal labour, and net profit in a simple visual breakdown. There's a slider to adjust your margin up or down. You see the total estimate update in real time, including GST.
No spreadsheets. No calculator app. Just slide it to where you want it.
Add the client details and job description
The app pulls together the client details: name, email, phone, billing address, site address. If the client came from Xero, this is already filled in. If you quoted for them before - Mina remembers.
The job description screen shows what's included in the works (supply of AC unit, installation and commissioning, piping, electrical) and what's excluded (boxing in duct work, patching walls, core hole drilling). Both sections are AI-generated, and you can regenerate or edit them.
You can also upload a photo of the wall where the unit's going and generate a visual preview of the installation for the client. Handy when they want to see what it'll look like before they say yes.
Review and send
The final screen is your completed quote, with the client name, address, quote number, total amount, full price breakdown, job description and contact details all in one place. Hit "Review and Send Quote" and it's off to the customer.
From opening the app to sending the quote: under two minutes.
That's it
No laptop. No templates. No sitting down at 9pm to type up what you quoted six hours ago. You talk, Mina builds the quote, you check the numbers, and it's sent.
If you want to try it, TRAiDMIN is on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store now. Currently supportingHVAC businesses, residential and light commercial.
TRAiDMIN — talk, quote, done.
